So I finally got around to watching Teen Titans in Tokyo and Justice League Unlimited Season 5. I can completely see why JLU didn’t get renewed for another season. Because seriously Deus Ex Luthor. That whole season was WTF of episodes full of second stringers and sometimes third stringers and barely any appearances by the big three. Plus, Legion of Doom? Come on, you guys really had to go there? *facepalm*
Teen Titans in Tokyo was cute if not as well done as the show. I mean even the obligatory montage was lackluster. That said, I’d like to believe that if they’d known that they weren’t going to get another movie or season they would have made a movie resolving all their cliffhangers.
Like who is the new Red X, what Slade is up to and who brought Terra back and is currently housing her and letting her go to school. It also would have been nice to have seen a Starfire centric season because she totally got screwed. Robin Season 1, Beast Boy Season 2, Cyborg Season 3, Raven Season 4 and then Beast Boy/Robin/Expanding the Titans Season 5. Poor Starfire totally got nada. Though that’s not entirely true. She did get the boy she’s been chasing forever…
