I have finished my first scanlation project! Helping get Soul Eater up-to-date!
*falls over*
Zomg so tired and I have the worst case of recurring heartburn…
I’m almost finished with one of my scanalation projects…of course I’m only doing a handful of chapters, but woot! First project almost done! Of course what sucks is that I’m missing a chapter as one of the raws was never scanned in. 
So I get to do 38-43 45-46.
Forty-four being the missing chapter, Forty-seven having been done by someone else and forty-eight being one I’m not going to touch so that the group (currently having finished Chapter 33) doing the “proper” scanlations can jump (if they feel like it) from 37 to 48 and go back and re-do my chapters at a more leisurely pace.
BECAUSE I WANT MY SOUL EATER IN A TIMELY MANNER ZOMG!
Yes, I did all this work solely so that I could have my chapters faster…

I mean I’m still a crap scanlator, but I don’t feel so overwhelmed. And I’m almost finished with both projects. I even have “schedules” and shite.
*waggles fingers* It’s scary.
BTW everyone should be giving Soul Eater a try. Whether it’s to your taste or not, it’s just innovative enough in it’s art and bending of stereotypes that it’s at least worth a couple of chapters read, or a couple of episodes watched.
And the voice actor for Tamaki in Ouran plays one of the main characters.

I’ve completed all the available chapters of Love Monster that had a translation so now I’m turning towards Soul Eater. ZOMG So much easier to clean! SO. MUCH. EASIER.

I broke something in my brains speed scanning and possibly the translator I’m working with. I’m almost finished with the translated chapters I have on hand (actually I am finished, but I’m sitting on a chapter so that I’m not doing THREE releases in one day) and I think I’ve put the translator in a panic.
Poor guy/girl. Now I kind of feel bad. I was just excited to read more Love Monster so I scanned fast. (Really fast).

I’ve just finished speed scanning two chapters of Love Monster with another four in queue. The worst part is cleaning up the scans.

I’ve started a scanalation group and am currently working on Volume 10.5 – 12 of Love Monster and asking for permission to do Chapters 41 up of Soul Eater from a person who is translating it for fun.
Surely the heaven’s will open up soon and smite me for my insanity. I’ve never even *tried* editing a manga and typsetting and all that mess! It’ll be a disaster! It’ll be a catastrophe! It’ll be hair tearing!
It’ll be a lot of fun because that means two of my obsessions will be either completed or up-to-date.
Provided I can bribe the translators with enough cookies to finish it all.

I plan on trying out all the new shows but with the recent move I’ve had to seriously limit how many at once. Just not enough time to watch! Currently we’re getting Chi’s Sweet Home, Macross Frontier, Soul Eater, Bus Gamer and Kanokon.
I know, lots of smut and cuteness. Dichotomy it is my middle name.
